Description
The National HIV Testing Mobilization Campaign (NHTMC) was a 3-year nationwide outreach and education campaign promoting HIV testing. Through this campaign, developed for the Office HIV/AIDS Policy and Infectious Disease(OHAPID), Office of the Assistant Secretary, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), sexually active Americans [Emphasis on high risk communities including African American, Hispanics, Asians, American Indian/Alaska Naive, Women, Youth, and LGBTQ] were encouraged to get tested for HIV as part of their routine health care.
