With 30 years of management experience, I bring to bear an intimate knowledge of the trade, strong relationships with vendors, and guiding artistic vision. I've strategically managed and coordinated projects ranging from national marketing campaigns, high-profile events and annual conferences to nonprofit fundraisers, grand opening celebrations, and international symposia. By working closely with diverse teams, I have a reputation for executing exceptional projects that meet business objectives and exceed expectations—all with seeming ease and efficiency.

 

I've used my trademark skills of problem solving, creativity, and flexibility to help clients produce corporate projects and events. I excel at logistics and operations, and my attention to detail means that projects and meetings go smoothly from concept to completion.

 

Good at wearing multiple hats, I'm adept at responding quickly to changing circumstances, always maintaining an upbeat, can-do attitude. As project/event manager, I specialize in customer service that nurtures positive, productive relationships with both clients and suppliers. I advance my clients’ mission by making the most of their project experiences while minimizing cost.

 

A kidney transplant recipient, after several years on dialysis, I'm passionate about educating people about organ donation and kidney health. I'm currently an appointed member of the Mid-Atlantic Renal Coalition (MARC) Patient Advisory Committee (PAC) and serve as a United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) Ambassador. In October 2016, I was certified as a Kidney Educator by the American Kidney Fund (AKF). 

 

I enjoy cooking, comic collecting, traveling, new technologies, and the challenges and rewards of being a mentor. An 18-year resident of Washington, DC, I can often be found checking out the latest cuisine or partaking of the cities theater scene.
